And, if you need all three, Amira’s Legal Bundle for the nitty gritty of your website is the way to go. ConvertKit
Email marketing for professional bloggers
ConvertKit is an email marketing system. This is a monthly, annual pay system, that should pay for itself in time spent creating emails, sequences, the automation, capture leads and lists. As I get into the system and learn the processes I’ll certainly share. Until then, check out their site and watch their video.
DPD Digital Product Delivery
We used DPD for a good year, from 11/2019 through January 2021. For $10 a month DPD holds, distributes and handles payments on a couple digital products of ours. DPD is a way to sell and deliver downloadable content such as eBooks and ZIP files to name a few product types in an automated way. It’s fairly intuitive to use, add and update products. The only reason we discontinued use of services is that over the year we develpoed other ways to sell and deliver our courses and books. Check them out!

Pixabay
Pixabay
Pixabay has been an excellent source of quality stock photos. In fact, the two images on this page are from Pixabay…you know, not the good lookin guy photo, but the other two! Anyway, a nice source of photographs, and free, to download.
Affinity
I’ve been working with the Affinity programs since the first of 2021 and am very impressed. Last I looked there were the three main programs; Photo Publisher and Designer. Photo and Publisher are my go to’s and I play around with Designer. The Adobe products of Photoshop and InDesign are still awesome but if you haven’t heard of Affinity yet check them out! Photo and Publisher and I suspect Designer are right up there with Photoshop and InDesign and the pricing may be what takes you over!
Adobe
Adobe
I’ve been using a few of the Adobe products for years, and wish I had started with Photoshop and Lightroom years earlier, however being part of the A/E industry I was working primarily with AutoCAD and SketchUp. But anyway, the little bundle of Adobe products I subscribe to, are affordable, and fun, even playing with a few commands to edit family and vacation photos, let alone create birthday and holiday cards. Photoshop and Lightroom, as well as Bridge are not tools one just jumps right into intuitively, at least most of us, but there are so many tutorials on Youtube, as well as Adobe’s excellent tutorials, as well as maybe checking out your local community college are all nice resources to get you up and editing family photos and more. So, if you’ve been pondering to give it a try, go for it. Nothing like learning a little bit!
Other resources we are trying out:
Cloud Storage
Dropbox and ProtonMail
We are not big power users of cloud storage, however we have dabbled with Dropbox and now checking out ProtonMails storage sytem. We are using the free versions, based on our needs and amount of content to date. Dropbox provides quick access to our files whether from our computer or phone, quick uploads and downloads, share with people, and just pretty intuitive to use. Storage with ProtonMail is part of our more secure email system so we are checking out their system and so far so good.
Compress JPEG
Compress JPEG
Compress JPEG is an image compression site, a free site, that reduces the size of photo JPEG and PNG images, from 1-20 jpgs at a time, significantly and quickly. A definite to try for your website.
