Medical Tourism Youtube Interview

Joanie hopped on the opportunity to spread good knowledge to those individuals looking for surgery alternatives outside the U.S.  With the query from Dan of Vagabond Buddha Joanie landed an interview with Dan.

Thank you Dan

So first, we and all those future medical tourism clients/patients want to give a big thank you to  Dan with Vagabond Buddha, aka Vagabond Awake, for the platform to get the medical tourism knowledge and information out just a bit more.  Medical tourism isn’t anything new, however with all that is going on in the U.S. people are taking a much closer look at this alternative.  Why She Left the USA for Healthcare is the name of the video interview.  Dan asks Joanie about a dozen questions and lasts about 20 minutes.

Dan, and usually Quiang

So now, at the moment of this writing, Dan has essentially 60K subscribers on his travel Youtube channel.  Dan, and usually Quiang, brings the conversation of where you can retire “cheaply”.  Dan has been in 60+ countries over the years, has his Youtube channel and a website where you can read and purchase booklets or a membership for all of his publications.  Check it out.  We have no monetary affiliation with Dan, so we don’t earn a small amount from your purchases.

When we catch up with them in Mexico or Southeast Asia we’ll buy a nice bottle of wine or Tequila or Mezcal for he and Quiang.  Right now we seem to be crossing paths in the air.  And btw, we purchased his affordable membership back in June or July.  We’ve been able to download several publications providing us more research information on various towns in Mexico and Southeast Asia.  It’s been good…worth the monies.

Improving the Quality of Life

Improving the quality of life is why Joanie has worked well over 2 decades, close to three, working hard for her clients and patients.  For those who don’t know Joanie and wonder what her expertise is…

  • Nurse Practitioner (ret)
  • Patient with Pulse Protocol
  • Networking with the Doctors and Hospitals of Pulse Protocol

Joanie is a Nurse Practitioner, FNP (ret), with experience as a surgical nurse, R.N. (ret).  As a Pulse Protocol patient, Joanie has also had 2 surgeries and 2-3 treatments.  We both continue to study the various services for ourselves and our families.  In our travels around Mexico, Joanie meets and networks with the various surgeons, doctors, staff and their medical facilites to further communicate to potential clients the expert care they will receive and thereby further knows the pre- and post process.

Anyway…yes, as worried as Joanie was about all that might happen during the video and the interview, she settled into a nice conversation with Dan to discuss medical tourism.  For her first time in this medium, Joanie was fantastic and this vehicle has the potential to help many, many women, men and children.  And, we appreciate so many of the heartfelt comments.  Joanie’s goal…if we can improve the quality of life for one person, one child…that’s powerful.

Stem Cells, Bariatrics, Orthopedics, Plastic & Aesthetics, Oncology, Dental and on and on…

Whether you need surgery or a procedure, a loved one and/or a family member, senior or young and anywhere in between your quality of life can be improved.  And, improved by excellent doctors and physicians, excellent hospital and clinic facilities and at affordable prices.  If possible, rest and recover in Mexico for a couple weeks.

Stem Cells

Stem cell research and treatments in Mexico are performed by expert doctors for senior citizens, as well as for children.  And again for all ages as an alternative to orthopedic surgeries.

Bariatrics, weight loss surgeries

Bariatrics can be a life changing surgery from doing very little and unhealthy to doing about anything you want and feeling great.

Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery

Another life altering change is in plastic surgery with excellent surgeons in clean, modern hospitals.  This is perfect, if one has the time, to spend time resting and recovering from surgery with a friend or loved one in Mexico.

Dental Surgery

And again, another life altering change is in dental surgery with excellent surgeons in clean, modern facilitiess.  This is interesting because, Dental surgery may be combined with Plastic surgery or Bariatrics surgery.  As one gets work done on one area of their body, one can combine a procedure or surgery with an excellent dentist.

Travel

As we mention, the secondary benefit of medical tourism if you have some time is to vacation with a friend or loved one.  Whether it’s a couple few days before and after or a couple weeks before and after the recovery and rest is nice.  The mountains, the city life, on the beach, hiking, biking, reading, writing, a bit of golf…it’s all really good, especially in Mexico.

Clarification(s) per Comments or FAQ’s

There are a couple items to maybe clarify…maybe you all get it, but just in case.  For example the title…

Why she left the USA for healthcare

Well, we haven’t “left” the US.  We will always be US citizens.  We are traveling as many do, and healthcare and the insurance of healthcare were driving forces to not wait to travel abroad anymore.

Be safe, stay healthy and enjoy your travels wherever they take you!
