Flagstaff rains and cozy fireplace make for an awesome day.  As a Phoenician, and having the monsoonless summer we had in Phoenix this summer, we are enjoying this day of rain in Flagstaff, especially with a cozy fireplace.  Work is getting done, reading and…enjoying time by the fire!!

We’re up for the week, sort of our prize for enduring a hot summer.  Even though we did a little summerin in Costa Rica this past August, during their rainy season, we love getting up to Flagstaff for cooler weather in the summer.  Often times it is 30 degrees cooler in Flagstaff, still 110+ in the Valley.  When we return a week later, the evenings tend to have cooled down and day time temperatures are at a “comfortable” just below 100 degrees.

So for today, some hot totties, some home-made chili and all is really good!  Golf at 7,000 feet will be played another day and star gazing another night.
