The Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen was one of our favorite journeys, and during Valentine’s week!
We were able to spend a week at an all inclusive resort with so much to do in proximity. We were set in the jungle with large pools and buildings set right up against large trees with monkeys overhead.
Of course, the Caribbean waters were beautiful. The landscape of the jungle and coast were amazing. The weather was perfect, lots of sun, big white clouds passing through, nice breeze coming in, a couple afternoon rains…perfect.
The food was so, so very good. Breakfast was excellent, as there was so much variety to choose from, and a nice mix from day to day. Of course, all you can eat delicious local breakfast cuisine to all sorts of fruits to your standard huge U.S. breakfast with drinks, mimosas, juices, shakes.
