Mexico Medical Tourism and Plastic Surgery
Medical tourism in Mexico and plastic surgery have been around for a few decades now, is by no means on the decline. In fact, neither of Canada’s health system nor the United States health system are slowing any of that momentum for medical tourism surgery and procedures in Mexico. Plus, Mexico and the platforms that support medical tourism have many excellent doctors and surgeons. These surgeons often have their offices and perform surgeries in excellent medical hospitals. And, as always, surgeries, procedures and treatments are more affordable than in the U.S. Pulse Protocol is one such medical tourism platform. Pulse Protocol offers a variety of surgeries, procedures and treatments with excellent doctors and facilities at affordable prices.
Some of the More Common Plastic Surgery Procedures
Breast augmentation for women tends to be the number 1 procedure and rarely for excessively large breasts. And, this is a procedure for men, as well. Women most often want a natural shape and form that is proportionate to their body. Women want to feel feminine in their own ways and along with the consult of their doctor determine the shape and form of their breasts. Then there is removal of tissue for looks and also for health, possibly to relieve back pain due to naturally large breasts. Then there are “lifts”, a way for women to have that shape they had 10, 20 years ago with the removal of tissue or augmentation.
Liposuction for men and women is a popular procedure that removes excess fat typically around the core of the body and also other parts of the body where fat accumulates. This procedure in removing pounds of fat can greatly increase one’s mobility and reduce the stress on the joints. Liposuction is not a dieting solution and a diet for you along with exercise and care needs to be adhered to so that fat does not build up in the body again.
Tummy tucks and Mommy Makeovers are other procedures that will remove excess and unwanted fat while decreasing the amount of skin from the reduction of fatty material.
Facial procedures are common especially the nose as well as around the eyes, cheeks and neck. These procedures do have an alternative with fillers and consulting with your doctor will help in determining which procedure is best for you at the time. Of course, there is more down time with facial surgery, whereas with fillers there is very little down time. As with a surgeon, find an excellent doctor to perform naturally looking filler treatments.
There are other procedures an excellent surgeon can perform so just because one is not listed here please consult with your doctor and/or jump on the medical tourism site below for more information about plastic surgery.
How to Select an Excellent Plastic Surgeon in Guadalajara
There are a couple ways to go about selecting an excellent plastic surgeon. Primarily selection is through research research research and/or word of mouth by good friends with excellent results themselves. Of course, there are excellent doctors in your country, however another option which has been around for a few decades now is to work with an excellent medical tourism platform.
Excellent medical tourism platforms will have performed the research in finding an excellent selection of doctors in countries outside of your country. For U.S. and Canadian citizens, Mexico is an excellent choice as Mexico has excellent doctors and excellent hospital facilities and excellent hospital staff. And, Mexico is a great place to vacation. See our blog on the hospital facility in Guadalajara called Puerta de Hierro Hospital. The platform should be able to answer your questions, coordinate a long list of points for your travels from your country to Mexico, for example, as well as coordinate your excellent surgeon. Some of the doctors that work in Guadalajara will travel to Puerto Vallarta to perform the surgery again in excellent facilities with excellent staff.
