A Thousand Stars Plus
A gorgeous clear evening under a central Portugal sky making for fabulous stars. Orion will be rising in the east with the Milky Way band on Orion’s shoulders. Looking forward to a post Christmas evening with a boat load of stars!

Coimbra
Sweet drive into Coimbra, Portugal today with Joanie. We had a couple hours so we walked around a small area near the University to get a feel for that portion of town. Good drive, and that was an area where a lot of flooding occurred a week ago. You can tell the river…Rio Montego, I believe, was still quite swollen, over the top of bank with trees still a couple feet deep plus in the river limits.
